1Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using eido ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using eido, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2Description of Service

eido is a calendar synchronization service that allows users to:

  • Connect multiple Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook calendar accounts
  • Create synchronization "pipes" between calendar accounts
  • Automatically sync calendar events in real-time using webhooks
  • Configure sync modes (Busy Only mode on Free tier, Full Details mode and event filters on Pro plans)

3User Accounts

Account Creation

You must sign in using a valid Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4Calendar Access and Authorization

By connecting your calendar accounts to eido, you:

  • Authorize eido to read calendar events from your connected accounts
  • Authorize eido to create, update, and delete events in your calendars as part of the synchronization process
  • Acknowledge that you have the right to grant such access to the calendars you connect
  • Understand that synced events will be modified according to your configured sync settings

Important Notice

eido will create, modify, and delete events in your calendars based on your sync configuration. Make sure you understand how your pipes are configured before enabling synchronization.

5Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any laws or regulations

Infringe on others' intellectual property rights

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems

Interfere with or disrupt the Service

Abuse API rate limits or overload our systems

Connect calendars you don't have permission to access

6Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be subject to:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates
  • Unscheduled downtime due to technical issues
  • Third-party service outages (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
  • API rate limiting by calendar providers

7Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EIDO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • Loss of data or calendar events
  • Missed appointments due to sync failures
  • Duplicate or incorrectly synced events
  • Service interruptions or unavailability

8Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

9Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by disconnecting all calendar accounts and ceasing to use the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
